Imo State (Igbo: Ȯra Imo) is a State in the South-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria, bordered to the North by Anambra State, Rivers State to the East and South, and Abia State to the West. Government total expenditure in 2023 was N193.21 billion. The State capital is Owerri. Imo State has opportunities in agro processing, hotels, energy, oil palm, tourism, healthcare, oil and gas, limestone, education, and allied products.
