Kogi State is a State in the North Central region of Nigeria, bordered to the East by the States of Ekiti and Kwara, to the North by the Federal Capital Territory, to the North-East by Nasarawa State, to the North-West by Niger State, to the South-West by the States of Edo and Ondo, to the South-East by the States of Anambra and Enugu, and to the West by Benue State. Government total expenditure in 2021 was N101 billion. The State capital is Lokoja. Kogi State has opportunities in cassava, fishery, iron ore, marble, tourism, gemstone, mahogany, cashew, rice, and limestone.
