Osun State is a State in the South-West geo-political zone of Nigeria. Osun State is bounded to the East by Ekiti and Ondo States, to the North by Kwara State, to the South by Ogun State and to the West by Oyo State. The State was named from the river Osun, a vital river that flows through the State. Government expenditure for 2021 was N99 billion. The State capital is Osogbo. Osun State has opportunities in tourism, education, irrigation, and forestry, as well as in the production of granite, oil palm cashew, gold, cocoa, and cassava.
