Plateau State is a State in the North-Central part geo-political zone of Nigeria, it borders Bauchi State to the North-East, Kaduna State to the North-West, Nasarawa State to the South-West and Taraba State to the South-East. Plateau State is the twelfth largest State in Nigeria and is in the centre of the country. Plateau State is geographically unique in Nigeria due to its boundaries of elevated hills surrounding the Jos Plateau. Government expenditure in 2021 was N93 billion. The State capital is Jos. Plateau State has opportunities in tourism and the production of potatoes, granite, kaolin, tea, fruits, maize, acha, tantalite and gemstone.
